Stories that move people. Strategies that move systems.

Manuel Gomez is a Navy veteran, social worker, executive leader, and doctoral scholar who speaks on leadership, adversity, and institutional reform. Working within one of the largest veteran service systems in the United States, he has led initiatives that improve how institutions respond to veterans facing housing instability, justice involvement, and complex social needs.

His work bridges lived experience, executive leadership, and doctoral-level research, giving him a rare perspective on how organizations operate under pressure and evolve. Manuel combines powerful storytelling with academic insight, translating research on leadership, resilience, and systems thinking into practical strategies for organizations, fostering veteran leadership.

Through Phoenix Kintsugi Consulting, he delivers keynote talks, leadership training, and strategic advising that help institutions rethink leadership, recognize experiential knowledge as an asset, and build stronger systems.
